The production process to create egg compound is slightly different in comparison to create egg powder. It is also made from the whole egg, but the protein content is higher (approximately 55-60%) due to the more sophisticated production process. Egg compound is used in the pet food industry. It has outstanding bonding and hardening qualities. Cheaper than the egg-replacement products used for human consumption due to less stringent quality requirements and therefore the best product if you do not want to work with traditional eggs. Egg compound is more hygienic and accurate to work with than eggs. Never again having the problem of possible mold due to rotten eggs because egg compound is pasteurized.
