NHDC stands for Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone(*). NHDC is approximately 1500-1800 times sweeter than sugar. An important synergetic quality of NHDC is the enhancing sweet effect if it is combined with other sweeteners. This is many times higher than if you solely use NHDC or a single sweetener. This is where the real power lies! It improves the taste of other sweeteners and is absolutely essential in every sweet bait.

* Neohesperidin Dihydrochalcone is isolated from orange waste and converted (spray-dried) into the sweetener and flavour enhancer NHDC. This makes NHDC a natural sweetener and it is detectable for carp.
